Testimonials
“ In the time I have worked with Viduni, she has been a pleasure to work with, her level of professionalism and attention to detail ensures the owners interests are looked after in all areas.
Viduni has a personality that is respectful and helpful, and many owners have commented to me how pleasant and helpful she is to deal with often she is the face of the building as any and all things are directed via Viduni who has the skill to farm them to the correct person.
Viduni will constantly be proactive in the presentation of reports and documents personally to me as chair to ensure the Owners Corporation are fully informed that help the committee to make informed.”
Jeff Dawson | Chairperson – Lacrosse and M Docklands
“Over my 8-9 years with the Committee, I have experienced quite a variety of support and service delivery efforts from the various strata managers. When Viduni started her role in her current company I observed her work and work-ethic. If I asked her for information or guidance in an area outside her role, she up took the “challenge” and source information to provide me and the Committee with a response. In her time of upward climb, she has always conducted herself in a professional and ethical manner. I have witnessed her calmness in the eyes of many storms!!!
Viduni has spread her wings and is now Chief Executive Officer in extremely complex, legally challenging and troubled times within the building industry. ”
Evelyn Formica | Secretary for the Committee – Centum Apartments
“ In 2015, the Victorian Building Authority commenced an investigation into a number of CBD buildings with identified Aluminium Composite Panelling. As a result of this ongoing audit, I have corresponded extensively with Viduni Fernando in a lengthy compliance process. A high level of excellence is displayed in Viduni’s work ethic, and her professional approach is courageous in the way of earnestly seeking support and guidance when a direction is unclear.
Viduni’s tremendous level of assistance and consistent reliability in minimising delay has proved formidable in the progress of the Council’s Cladding Audit. ”

Our Points of Difference
As the Strata Management company responsible for the renowned Lacrosse Towers in Docklands, Platinum Strata pioneered an unprecedented and groundbreaking legal initiative concerning combustible cladding, or Defect Rectification, in Australia.
At the heart of this substantial undertaking, Platinum Strata forged an alliance with a diverse range of stakeholders. Alongside the Metropolitan Fire and Emergency Services Board (MFB), the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Building Management, construction companies, insurers, political figures, and non-profit organisations, we steered one of the industry’s most extensive emergency management campaigns ever encountered.
This colossal endeavour necessitated an unparalleled level of administrative and operational management proficiency, which we successfully demonstrated. In addition, our extensive involvement facilitated crucial support for the ensuing legal battle that led to a landmark victory for the owners corporation.
This high-profile case reached a significant conclusion when the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) issued an unprecedented ruling. For the first time, they clarified the liability of builders and consultants relating to the installation of Aluminum Composite Paneling (ACP) on Australian buildings, which was found to be in breach of the ‘deemed to satisfy’ provisions of the Building Code of Australia (BCA). This first-of-its-kind determination underscored Platinum Strata’s commitment to achieving justice for our clients and has set a significant legal precedent for the entire Australian building and construction industry.
