Owners Corporations Management within the Student Accommodations sector
- Experience in managing owners corporations designed to provide quality accommodation exclusively for the support of students.
- Exposure to understanding the objective of the Student Accommodation Association Incorporated (SAA), the representative body.
- Experience in managing commercial purpose-built student accommodation sites in residential apartments specifically designed and built.
- Experience in being able to identify individual properties that are being operated to a set of industry-led minimum standards with a focus on student safety and wellbeing.
- Sound understanding of the key priorities and measures to improve the international student experience and working together with different stakeholders to create a unique Australian education experience.
- Experience in implementing measures in reducing the built environment’s carbon footprint
- Experiencing in drafting Student Accommodation House Rules which form part of your rental agreement. Breaches of these rules can be used by management to terminate your rental agreement if necessary and may cause your bond to be forfeited.
