At Platinum, we maintain a database of maintenance contractors and tradespeople that are fully qualified and aware of the work health & safety.
- Relevant accreditation, license & membership to industry associations to safely undertake work on a strata-titled property
- Relevant experience in delivering the necessary work standards
- Fully insured with maximum coverage for the type of work undertaken
- Obligated to sign Platinum Strata work health and safety declaration & code of conduct form
- Verification of the ABN, Business License, general registration with ASIC etc.
Public and products liability insurance
All maintenance contractors who enter any strata-titled property must have public and product liability insurance.
Professional indemnity insurance
Any provider, certifier, or contractor engaged in providing advice or service to owners or committees must provide evidence of professional indemnity insurance guarantees.
Workers compensation insurance
All contractors must also require obtaining workers compensation insurance.
We encourage all contractors to sign the Platinum Strata work health and safety declaration and code of conduct, thus ensuring that the contractors and professional service providers understand the state-based work health and safety requirements.
